The false statement (from my other entry) was #1. My un-dyed natural hair color is not brown, it's blonde. However, it's a dishwater/dirty blonde... the kind of color that doesn't really look good on anyone. So, I dye it. Partly because I hate my natural color and partly because I like trying out a variety of colors. Yes, I did used to be a vegetarian. And yes, I am horribly allergic to cats. So much so that my prescription allergy medication doesn't even cover it and my everyday asthma preventative inhaler was upped after we got Amber.

I had a good weekend and am not happy that it's once again Monday. Friday night Berek and Pita came over for D&D. We finished going after the noble house we were assigned to "take care of", had a nasty fight with some Hound Archons, and Pita's character turned a half-celestial paladin into a zombie and killed a dragon with a single spell.

Saturday I had a hair appointment at Gebhart. I kept the same golden blonde color, but had just a teeny hint of red put into it. That hint of red will probably be washed out in a day or two. Red never stays in my hair. I toyed with the idea of changing colors, but decided not to because I really like the one I have now. I wish I could try and go black... like a violet black. But I know if I ever wanted to be blonde again I'd have to wait for it to grow out because black is super hard to pull out of hair without destroying the hair. Besides, Rob said he thinks I'd look undead if I colored my hair black. Anyway, the appointment took about three hours (bleach the roots, let it sit, wash that out, dry it, put the color on it, let it sit, wash that out, dry and style) and when it was done we were ready for some foodage. I absolutely love how my hair looks when Margie styles it. I wish I could get it straight and non-poufy when I blow dry it. Like I said, we were ready for food and so we headed two doors down to Golden China.

After Chinese food we headed to Babies R Us for some diapers, formula, a cookie monster toy for Gabriel, and a jacket (in his current size and the next size as well) in case we have to head out to Wisconsin sometime in the near future. After Babies R Us we grabbed some drinks at Lollicup and headed on the 210. On the way home we made a pit stop at Avenue because I was looking for some jeans, but it seems they were sold out of everything I liked in my size. I'll check another Avenue sometime later on.

Sunday we made a run to the Sherman Oaks mall, looked around a bit, and grabbed dinner at the food court. My car needed to get out and I wanted to check a few things out at the mall. It was crowded as hell so we didn't really stay all that long. We mostly just got food and bailed. When we got home I took a nap and then we watched The Amazing Race before getting Gabriel ready for bed.
