The whole thing with the chimney sweep was super easy. They came in with all of their equiptment, peeked into the fireplace and put a brush in it, and then looked confused. I was asked if we had ever used the fireplace and I told them we didn't. That was the end of that. No cleaning needed. Wouldn't it have been easier and quicker for the chimney sweeps and a lot more convienient for the residents if management had asked us if we ever used our fireplaces? *sigh*

I was walking by the calendar on the way into the kitchen to make up Gabriel's bottle. I glanced at the calendar and noticed that today is one week from my 32nd birthday. Wow. Time flies and I'm getting old. I don't like that and I think I need to start having reverse birthdays. Maybe get younger on all of my future birthdays. Heh, it would be nice.

I'll be out at my Mom's place and so it should be a good birthday. Last year's wasn't all that good and I spent a lot of it feeling unloved and crying. Being around my Mom, Nana, Gabriel, and Rob should make this one a whole lot better.
