Last night was bad. We were watching The Toxic Avenger and I started getting a migraine. Over time it got worse and I couldn't even stay up to watch the end of the movie. I was in severe pain, thought I was going to throw up, and couldn't even tolerate the night light in the bedroom. There was really nothing I could do other than to head to bed and get some sleep.

This morning when I got up I still had a lingering headache, but it was no longer a migraine. The light sensitivity was gone, but the nausea was still there so I decided not to eat anything until I felt at least somewhat better. Better safe than hurling.

This morning when Rob and I were getting ready and showering we heard people banging on the roof and my Mom mentioned that the roofers were here. Both Rob and I hoped they weren't going anywhere near the skylights in the bathroom or they'd get a nice show of us butt nekkid. They didn't seem to be in that area, but earlier in the morning they were and they noticed that one of the skylights had been hit by an errant golf ball (my Mom lives next to a golf course) and got a crack in it. The crack spider webbed and now the skylight window glass needs to be replaced. She already has to get her roof replaced because the tiles they used when building the house were faulty. She also had to have one of her windows looked at the other day because it was leaking when it rained out. Heh, is this what we have to look forward to if we can ever buy a house?

Anyway, once we got ready we headed over to the BMW dealer for my Mom to get a problem with her car checked out. On our way to her house from the airport on Wednesday her brake light came on and a notice came up that said "check brake linings". So, she took it in and they said the front brakes needed to be replaced. While waiting for the car my Mom and Nana chilled out in the waiting room with Gabriel and Rob and I got to take the shuttle up to a local mall. We stopped in a Halloween store and I got a plastic squeaky rat and a devil tail for Halloween (that place was surprisingly not packed for it being a few days before Halloween). We also stopped in Bath and Body Works so I could get some body spray (they once again have the apple scent available) and I also picked up some hand lotion for both my Mom and I and some lip balm. Rob got me a super soft pale purple teddy bear and a massage roller. We only had an hour at the mall so we didn't get to stop in too many stores. Before the shuttle was supposed to pick us up we also ran into Borders and I got my Nana a bookmark and Gabriel a stuffed pig. The shuttle was waiting for us when we were done and took us back to the BMW dealer.

The car wasn't ready yet and my Mom was checking into what a new car would run her since she'd like to get one sometime soon. Finally when the car was ready we all headed out and stopped at Culver's drive through to get some food because none of us had eaten anything yet. Right before we headed to the mall my headache went away and as of now I'm feeling a whole lot better. Hopefully, the migraine won't come back.

Right now we're back at my Mom's place and in a little bit we'll probably be ordering in pizza from Happy Joe's.

Oh, I forgot to mention something yesterday. Gabriel's doing a lot more of the babbling, but he's also saying Dada and looking at Rob. Yesterday (on my birthday no less, how cool is that) he looked at me and said Mama. He's saying Dada a lot more than he's saying Mama, but that's to be expected since he's such a Daddy's boy.
