I'm currently using the business center at the Clarion hotel. It's a difficult setup where the mouse is far away and the keyboard is hard to reach, but at least it's something. And it's not on dial up.

We got up around 8:30am this morning, got ready, finished packing, and headed out of my Mom's house around 11am. When we got to Milwaukee we looked at two apartments. The first one was the one in Pewaukee that we had already seen and liked and the second one was another one in Pewaukee. The only difference was that the first one had a HUGE bathroom with whirlpool tub and a walk in closet and the second one had an extra bedroom instead of the big bathroom and small closets. We looked at both of them and decided we liked the first one better. So, we did all of the paperwork, signed the lease, paid the security and pet deposit, and paid the first month's rent. Our lease starts December 1. If either one of us finds employment out here soon, we'll move in mid-December. If not, we'll move in mid-January so that Rob can get the end of the year bonus his boss bribed him with to try and get him to stay on through the end of the year.

So yeah, we now have an apartment out here. Wow. This is really happening. I can't believe it. So cool. And what's even better was that it was built as condo/townhomes and just ended up being apartments. So we have our own attached two car garage and a door which opens up to the outside. There's a living room, dining room, kitchen, HUGE master bathroom with a whirlpool tub, smaller second bathroom with shower, master bedroom with walk in closet, a room for Gabriel, and a huge loft area overlooking the living room. When we move here we'll take pictures. We didn't have the time to today.

After doing the lease and paperwork for our new apartment, we all headed over to the hotel. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and then my Mom and Nana headed out. Now we're here at the hotel and need to get up ass early for our flight tomorrow. Just thought I'd get one more posting in before heading back to LA.
