Oh yeah, Gabriel's a talker. I mentioned this in my comments section from yesterday's entry, but I know that not everyone reads the comments, so I'm putting it here as well (and in a bit more detail).

Dada: He's now saying it and meaning it, not just babbling. There will be times he looks at Rob, holds his arms out to be held, and says Dada.

Mama: Also saying it and meaning it. Last night when Rob was feeding him his dinner (peas) and he hated them (as usual) Rob asked what he wanted. He pointed in the direction of the room I had just gone into and said Mama. He'll also say Mama and hold his arms out when he wants to be picked up. And he'll call me if I'm in another room during the day. Yup, he knows who his Mama and Dada are.

Kitty: Well, actually, a very quiet and almost whispery "key...tee". He first said it a few days ago when looking at Amber. Last night he kept saying it every time he saw Sydney or Amber and when he was chasing them around as well.

That: I'm pretty sure "dat" means that. He says it when he wants something we won't let him have or when something is out of reach. Especially dice. He seems to have an obsession with grabbing fistfulls of our dice. This kid's gonna be a gamer.

He's been saying Iggy (as a name for his giraffe blanket thing) and Ning (as the universal word for something he wants or needs) for a very long time now, but I'm not sure those count seeing as how they're not "real" words. Oh, and he still sits there and babbles. He'll have full on baby talk conversations with his stuffed animals.

Yesterday was the day from hell. I hurt my back very badly and it still stings today. We had a poopsplosion and Gabriel decided to grab fistfulls of it during the change and smear them on everything he could reach. We had some very difficult diaper changes when he would not stay still, stay on his back, or let me get anywhere near him with a clean diaper. It was just a very rough day and I was exhausted by the time Rob got home from work. That being said, I didn't want to go out. Yeah, we should have taken my car out, but I was exhausted and Rob was home later than usual. So, we ordered in from Jerry's, gamed, and watched Survivor. During dinner we found out that Gabriel likes to teethe on pickle slices.

Guys Think You're Easy to Be With... But Not Easy
You're definitely a flirt - and a good one.
But you also know that you shouldn't make a move on any cute guy who passes by.
You save your seductive moves for someone who already knows the real you.
That way, your sex appeal is just part of the whole package.
