Every day Gabriel continues to astound me in new ways. Last night he kept looking at Amber and then looking as if he was concentrating on something. At first I thought he was pooping again, but no. He softly said "key... key... key... tee... tee". He then tried to touch Amber and softly said "key...tee". Holy crap. I think he just said "kitty"! Later on he kept trying to get my dice and we wouldn't let him have them. He kept lunging and reaching for them and then started screaming "dat, dat, dat, dat". Once again Rob and I looked surprised as he tried to grab the dice and said "dat". Sounded a lot like "that". Wow.

Last night we stayed in and made taco salad for dinner. We gamed, watched America's Next Top Model, and played with Gabriel. At one point Gabriel started chasing Sydney around and kept having giggle fits over it. Sydney didn't mind at all. Amber was smart and the minute Gabriel tried to chase her she went into another room. For most of the night Gabriel was screaming. I think he's having a rough time with the diarrhea and raw butt.

This morning we had a bit of a poop incident. During a diaper change he put his hand on his butt and scooped up a hand of poop. He then proceeded to get it on the changing table pad, the wood of the changing table, the wall, me, him, etc. Once he was cleaned up I then set to cleaning up everything else that was covered in poop. Ew.

Yesterday I washed up Gabriel's crusty stuffed animals and after a "ride in the washing machine and dryer" they're doing a lot better now. Didn't have the time for his laundry though. So, today I'm doing up his loads. It's probably for the best that I'm doing it today because of the whole poop incident this morning.
