2006-12-12 11:32 AM Packing Sidetracked By Baby Previous Entry :: Next Entry Mood: Tired Read/Post Comments (3) Yesterday was the first day (of many to come) where I had more laundry than I knew what to do with. I managed to get all of the adult clothes washed up. There's going to be a hell of a lot of laundry to get done around here before the move and the day before the movers get here will be me trying to wash everything possible. As I type I have our towels in the washing machine and the baby load is up next. Last night Rob and I stayed in. We ordered in Chinese food, did some gaming, and dealt with a super fussy baby. We had wanted to get some packing done, but Gabriel was having a fit every time we put him down. We have a friend coming over tonight, but she knows we need to pack so hopefully we can get to work on packing tonight. On the bright side my Mom is coming out here this Sunday so we'll have another person to aid us with our packing. We'd like to get as much done as possible before she comes out here, but with the baby sometimes things don't always work out as planned. Today is pretty much taken up by laundry and tending to Gabriel. This morning he was super cute (well, the pooping through his pants part was not cute) and when he saw Sydney he smiled, tried to reach out towards him, and kept saying "dat, dat, dat". He and Sydney get along well and I'm glad. He seems to light up everytime he sees Sydney. And Sydney puts up with Gabriel chasing him around and grabbing at him. We try to keep up with Gabriel so he doesn't torment Sydney too much, but Sydney will pretty much let Gabriel do whatever he wants to him and doesn't seem to mind. Oh, something I forgot to mention in previous entries. Gabriel's been clapping for about a week or two now. He'll usually clap if I clap, but now he's also just clapping on his own. And Friday night when we were at that burger place he started waving. He dropped his toy lion and I said "bye bye lion" and waved. He waved back. Now he's waving more and the other day waved at Sydney. Too cute. ----------
