Donate Weapons of Mass Destruction

We didn't need to get up for anything this morning, so of course Gabriel slept through the night and even slept in until 9am! I think he's only fussy when at least one of us need to get up for something (like Rob getting up for work at our old place or us needing to get up to get out to our apartment yesterday). Ah well, it was nice to just snooze in with no alarm. I think I was the last one up today. But since I'm usually the Gabriel caretaker during the day, I think I'm allowed to get some extra sleep when my Mom and my hubby are willing to look after the Poopchuck.

My Mom had her first Gabriel poopsplosion this morning. I know she had plenty of them when I was a baby, but I think this was her first Gabriel one. When he woke up this morning she went to check on him and saw that everything was covered in poop. He didn't poop at all yesterday, so we were kind of expecting it. It was all down his leg, up his back, over his PJs, and in his crib. Ew. My Mom was amazing and took care of it without waking up either Rob or me. It was so nice to have a poopsplosion that I didn't have to clean up.

After getting up and getting ready I gave a call to one of my credit card companies because I haven't received the bill yet and I knew it was due soon. I found out how to send payment in without the stub and will need to do that for my other credit card tomorrow. Oh, and I need to call the California Bar at some point because I also haven't gotten my new bar card yet.

Once we were all ready to go we headed out to my Mom's bank so that she could pay her mortgage for the month and deposit her alimony check. We then headed to the post office to send out my credit card payment and Rob sent out our first COBRA payment so hopefully we should still have health insurance come the first of January. Our next stop was Wal*Mart for some items we needed and then we headed back to my Mom's place to chill out a bit before dinner.

Around 5pm we headed out to a Mexican restaurant over by the grocery store that we had never tried before called Los Aztecas. It was actually really good food and now we know that there's a decent Mexican place near my Mom's house.

After dinner I made a run both to the grocery store and to Wal*Mart to look for light baby oil spray for my super dry skin. No luck. My skin out here is super dry and my back is literally cracking open. I know that light baby oil spray works wonders for me, I just need to find a place out here that sells it. After striking out both at the grocery store and at Wal*Mart we headed back to my Mom's place.

Rob's been having some trouble with his right shoulder as of late. It's been hurting him very badly and even rubs, Aleve, and hot packs don't seem to be doing much of anything to help him. I suggested he try Tiger Balm because I've found that to be amazing in the past. So, he picked some up today and tried it tonight and said to me "Tiger Balm is the shiznit". I think it's helping far more than anything else has so far. I hope his shoulder pain goes away soon because it seemed to be getting to near intolerable levels earlier today.
