Rob had his HR Certification test today, so when he headed off, Gabriel and I stayed at home and chilled out. I wasn't able to get much work done at all because Gabriel is cutting more teeth and that makes him super grumpy. He cried and screamed a lot so I spent the time Rob was off at his test giving him lots of cuddlies, all the pattycake he wanted, and watched some Elmo with him.

Rob didn't take long at the test at all. It was a four hour test and he was able to finish it in a little over an hour. When he called me I was a bit worried because it was at a time when he should have been in the test. He got his preliminary results back right after taking it. I'm not going to post if he passed or failed. That's for him to do. And if he slacks and doesn't do his own journal entry, feel free to pester him lots. *wink*

When Rob got back he took over watching the Poopchuck (who thankfully did not poop on my solo watch) and I was able to get some work done. I started my notecard outline for UCC (The Uniform Commercial Code) Section 9 - Secured Transactions. It's something I never took in law school, so I'm having to learn it from the beginning. Good lord is it boring.

Tonight we watched the results show of So You Think You Can Dance and Rob bathed the Poopchuck. Then we got a hankering for doughnuts, so we headed to Krispy Kreme to get a dozen assorted and also grabbed some Starbucks just as they were closing up. It was so nice getting out of the house (even for a short while) at night. I hadn't been able to get out at night since last Winter! Hopefully I'll have more of a life once the damn bar is over. Especially during the time I'm waiting for the results.

As an update, my Nana has been moved from the recovery part of the hospital to a physical therapy part of the hospital. She seems to be doing well during the day, but is still "sundowning" and having issues at night. My Mom is spending most of her time with my Nana at the hospital.

Rob and I took this test together. Not very high results, but we know that we're pretty opposite. I guess we're proof that opposites really do attract.
