Today I worked my ass off (or brain off) with Civil Procedure. Ugh. I spent the whole time making my notecard outline and got about halfway done (which is where I wanted to be today). However, in order to get my goal done for the day I had to work through until around 9pm. My hand is cramped from all the writing, my legs and back ache from the way I was sitting (cross legged and hunched over), and that thing in my wrist keeps getting bigger. Oy.

On the down side, due to my work load, we weren't able to get out to see any of the local fireworks shows. On the bright side, we didn't have to. We had an absolutely amazing view of the fireworks at the Waukesha County Fairgrounds from our apartment. We tried watching them on the balcony, but were uncomfortable in the hot and muggy weather and were getting eaten alive by bugs. So, we headed inside, turned off all the lights, and were able to see a great show from the comfort of our living room. Even though I didn't have the time to set foot outside today, at least we had a great view of some of the local fireworks right from our living room! Can't beat that!

After the show I bathed the Poopchuck and boy was he pissed off about that! He fell asleep during the fireworks and was NOT at all happy about being woken up for his bath. Luckily for us, he went to bed soon after his bath. Not so luckily for us he'll probably be awake and ready to go for the day around 4am.
