Today the in-laws came up to our neck of the woods. They got here a little after 3pm and we showed them around the apartment and just hung out. We talked and everyone played with the Poopchuck. It was a really nice time.

Around 4:30pm we headed out to dinner. We suggested some various family friendly restaurants in the area, and Ellen liked the idea of Perkins. Perkins it was. We had never been there before, but it was a really good idea. The food was good and Tuesday nights are "kids eat free" night. So, Gabriel wasn't the only fussy kid in there. The "kids eat free" part was especially cool because as usual, Gabriel was not up for eating his dinner. After dinner the family headed back to their hotel in Kenosha.

After the in-laws headed back to their hotel, Rob and I made a stop at the drug store so I could pick up my rescue inhaler prescription. I've been having some odd breathing issues as of late. We then noticed that Gabriel was starting to get drowsy, so we drove around for a bit until he was fully asleep.

When we got home, Gabriel took a nap and we watched Big Brother. Unfortunately, the late nap means that Gabriel is still currently awake. And until he's asleep, we can't go to sleep.

By the way, I don't know if you've been looking, but I've been putting bizarre random pictures up on the front page of my journal (just scroll down below everything else) and have been putting a new one up every time I change the journal layout. You might want to check the current one out, I think it's rather fitting.
