Things are crazy busy around here, and it's not going to let up any time in the foreseeable future. There's so much I need to get done before heading to Michigan this weekend and there's so much I need to do for the job hunt. I just want to hide under the covers in my comfy bed and ignore it all.

So, today we made a run to an outlet mall. We didn't have much luck. Our only success was buying a few outfits in size 24 months and 2T for Gabriel. He'll be in that size fairly soon. The main thing we were looking for was a suit or nice slacks and a button up shirt with some sort of vest for Gabriel. We need something for him to wear at my swearing in ceremony. It's courtroom attire for everyone (including guests) there because it's being held in the state Supreme Court. We checked Children's Place, Carter's, Little Me, Baby Gap, and even Polo Ralph Lauren. No luck. *sigh* Some people recommended looking at Kohl's or Sears and we'll do that. Otherwise we're going to have to look around online.

I also had no luck. I checked out the Lane Bryant at the outlet mall for suits. They had nothing in petite so the arms and legs were way too long. It also didn't help that the suit jackets wouldn't button across my boobs. I'll be checking Avenue and Catherine's at some point, but I've had no luck with them in the past. If anyone knows where I can get *nice* looking suits (proper for an attorney) in a size 28 petite, please let me know.

After the outlet mall we headed back to our area and made a stop at Babies R Us for some things we'll need for this weekend. We were able to find everything except for water wings and so we'll be looking for those probably tomorrow. We have a whole lot to do tomorrow.

My Mom came into town today. She can get into the apartment even when we're not here, so we gave her a heads up that we might not be around when she arrived. When she got into town she visited my Nana in the hospital and then headed over to our place. She got to our place about five minutes before we did.

We chilled out at home for a bit and then were planning on heading to Perkins for dinner as is our new Tuesday night "thing". Unfortunately, Gabriel was PISSY. He wouldn't stop screaming and we knew there was no way we could go out to eat with him this pissed off. So, we went out to grab something to bring back to the apartment.

Tonight we watched Big Brother and I got some laundry done up. It's nice having my Mom here again.

Oh, as a side note I decided to get my Mom a Squishable duck. I wanted to get her something because she's been having a rough time lately. It came today and I was able to give it to her. I think she likes it.

According to John Allan Lee, yellow types would be happy to have a solid, supportive relationship and value this far more than physical or emotional intensity. Yellow types often find themselves falling in love with a best friend or a family friend without realizing it. Read more...
