2008-01-09 12:20 PM Poop Storm Previous Entry :: Next Entry Mood: Tired Read/Post Comments (5) I'm sitting here, trying to cool off somewhat. I'm sweating up a storm and every time I sit down or try to do anything, there's yet another poopy diaper to deal with. Today is not a good day so far. Gabriel is currently distracted by The Backyardigans, so I'm getting a post in. G was supposed to be here yesterday at 9am to look and see what happened to the closet rail and what parts might be needed to fix it. She never came. She hasn't been here today either and there have been no phone calls from her or her husband. I'm just glad this isn't an emergency. Normally they're so good about responding to problems around here. Not this time though. I'm currently working on cleaning Gabriel's favorite lovey - a stuffed pig. It needs regular cleanings because it gets super grungy. Grungy with baby love. I have a chicken and corn chili dinner going in the crock pot. Today has been like something out of a horror movie. There's more poop going on around here than I can handle. Gabriel's pooping every five to ten minutes. I swear, we've probaby gone through half a pack of diapers just this morning. I clean it, sit down for two seconds, and he poops again. To top it off, Sydney took a toxic dump as well so the whole apartment smells like rank ass. One of the few things that truly nauseates me is poop. And today I'm up to my eyeballs in it. Someone please save me. Oh, and for some reason, Gabriel likes to poop either in the kitchen or while sitting on my lap. Pleasant, that. On the bright side, I've found another food that Gabriel will eat. Toaster Scrambles. He's super picky and usually won't eat much of anything. We know he'll eat Cheerios, fruit strips, PediaSure nutrition bars, chicken nuggets, bread sticks, and occasionally grilled cheese (but only from Panera). Now he'll also eat Toaster Scrambles. At least it's something new. ----------
