My Mom was originally planning on coming out here on Monday and staying until Wednesday, but the recent snow threw those plans off. Luckily, she was able to come out yesterday and will be staying until tomorrow (Friday). Yay! I love it when my Mom is out here and it's nice to have some adult contact during the day.

Yesterday we hung out around the house a lot and made a brief run out to the grocery store. My Mom wanted a few items and I needed to get my car out anyway.

Last night I made italian chicken and potatoes for dinner and tonight I'm making a cheesy broccoli chicken thing. I absolutely love that crock pot!

I've recently found out that vitamin water is the nectar of the gods. I always have one after I wake up in the morning and some days it's the only thing that keeps me going.

With the wind chill it's currently -25 out. When I think it's cold out, you know it's bad.
