Yesterday was nice, not only because my mom was here, but also because I was able to get out of the friggin' house on a weekday. I love being able to spend this time with Gabriel, but staying in the house every day is starting to drive me a little batty.

There's a condo complex being built right near Pewaukee lake that my mom wanted to check out. They haven't even broken ground there, but there's a trailor on the lot that has floor plans and the like. She met with a realtor to find out about the condos in case she wants to buy one before they start building. Gabriel had just fallen asleep when we got there, so Gabriel and I waited in the car while my mom met with the realtor.

When she was done there, we headed over to visit my Nana. She was just getting ready for physical therapy when we got there, so we did the visit while she was doing her physical therapy. Gabriel had fun with a ball that they had there, but had a few fits when he couldn't play with all of the cool "toys" that my Nana got to play with. All in all, he was pretty well behaved. At one point, he even started feeding me some corn chips. I don't know why, but he likes to feed people.

The weirdest thing happened while I was there. I started getting a bit of a rash on both of my arms. My mom was a bit weirded out about this because there's some rash going around in the nursing home. My Nana has it and the lady across the table from her in physical therapy had it as well. It came out of nowhere, but is starting to go away today. I have no idea what was up with that.

Shortly after heading back to my Nana's room with her, someone came to tell her that there was a group discussion about presidents going on. She wanted to go to that and we were going to head out soon anyway so that all worked out well.

Last night's broccoli rice chicken turned out very good! It's so scary that I'm the one making dinner these days.

Last night we watched The Apprentice and I gave the Poopchuck a bath. When his hair was wet and down my mom gave him his first hair cut. Well, it was more of a trim. His hair had gotten down to the middle of his back and when dry he was starting to get some massively crazy hair. So, it was trimmed up to shoulder length. It's still somewhat crazy hair, but it looks better at this length. He still has his curls.

Nope, he's not getting a boy cut. When and if he asks for a boy cut he'l get one. But until then he's having long hair. It's just too damned cute on him. Though when it gets crazy long we'll probably get occasional cuts to put it back to shoulder length.

My mom headed back home today. *snifflewah* She left around 10am. She had to take her car over to the Lexus dealer because one of her dashboard lights came on and then she was going to pop by and visit my Nana before heading on home.

Today I've spent doing three loads of laundry and getting bills done. Tonight I need to make a run to the bank to deposit some checks and then head to the post office to mail out bills.
