On Monday, my Mom drove Gabriel and I out to her place. It was very foggy for most of the drive and there was on and off light rain, but we ended up getting out here just fine.

Tuesday we had our dental appointments. One of them was supposed to be for Rob, but he wasn't able to come out here because of work. I went first. I got my teeth cleaned while Mom watched Gabriel. I hate the sound in my head when I get my teeth cleaned, it drives me up the wall. But, they got cleaned and there are spaces between my teeth that I didn't even know were there. It's been about 4 years since I've been to a dentist, so I really needed a clean and check done. No cavities and no problems. Woot! I watched the Poopchuck while my Mom had her clean and check done. She's going to need a lot of work. Next week she has to get a cavity filled that's behind a veneer on one of her front teeth. At some point she'll need a tooth that broke vertically fixed and she'll need crowns on all of her front bottom teeth.

It started snowing when we were at the dentist's office and we heard that a bad storm was on the way. It was already nasty for the drive home.

I was supposed to head back home today, but the weather is so bad that I'm still at my Mom's place. While I normally like being out here, I miss Rob and I'm out of medications. I planned on going home today and so I didn't bring any extra meds with me. This is bad and I have to get home tomorrow and double dose a lot of my meds or I'm going to have some serious complications.

I kid you not when I say that there's a ton of snow here. We're under blizzard conditions and are getting about 3 inches an hour. Neither the road nor my Mom's driveway is plowed. They predicted 12-18 inches this storm, but it's already been more than that and the storm is still raging. When we opened one of the doors the snow was about to my Mom's mid-thigh.

The storm is supposed to end tonight. I hope it does because without my medications, I HAVE to get home tomorrow.
