I recently found out that my Nana is in the hospital again. She was in the bathroom and an attendant put her in her wheelchair and then was called for something else. My Nana was told to wait to do anything until the attendant got back. Instead of waiting, she tried to readjust herself and ended up falling out of the wheelchair and onto the bathroom floor. She landed on the bottom lip of the shower.

She complained of rib and hip pain and was taken to the local hospital. Her ribs are fine, but her hip (the one that was broken last year) is fractured in several places. Because it's fractured, they can't really cast it or anything. It's just a wait and heal sort of thing.

They're keeping her in the hospital for observation. She was having involuntary leg movements and so there might be some nerve damage there.

She's also been having some severe diarrhea that they're looking into as well.
