I recently got an e-mail update from my Mom about my Nana. She's doing some physical therapy sessions and seems to be getting some use of her leg back. However, she's still too weak to use her walker. The diarrhea was found out to be caused by a C Diff infection. It's lucky this was caught when it was and that she's being treated by a hospital for it because apparently if left untreated it can be fatal. It's a bacteria that pretty much everyone has, but is kept in check by our good bacteria. When she went on antibiotics, it killed off the good bacteria and let this infect her system. Current plans are to keep her in the hospital for the C Diff and physical therapy. As soon as the infection clears, she should be able to head back to the Sterling House.

In other news, I can no longer go to the bathroom by myself. If I'm going to the bathroom, Gabriel just has to be there with me. It doesn't matter if he's entranced by something or I sneak off, he has pottydar and knows when I'm in there and will run there as fast as possible. If I take too long for him he'll give me some toilet paper. He needs to watch me go, and then say bye-bye to whatever is being flushed down the toilet, and then close the lid and point to all of the fish on the lid. *sigh* There used to be a time when I had bathroom privacy, not anymore. The only thing I'm concerned about is keeping him out when I have my period. I don't want him seeing the whole tampon process.

Rob found the entire first season of Between the Lions on DVD and ordered it for Gabriel. It arrived yesterday. Gabriel laughed and cried with delight and had a total spaz attack when he saw it. Between the Lions and Yo Gabba Gabba seem to be his favorite shows. So, today we're having a Between the Lions marathon. It started around 8am and is still going on.
