There's good news and bad news on the Nana front. The good news is that she's tested clear of the C Diff and has beaten it. No more infection is always a good thing.

The bad news is that she's refusing physical therapy and won't put any weight on her leg. She says it gives her severe pain when she tries to put any weight on it. So, she just wants to stay in bed. The x-rays and CT scan show only small fractures so she shouldn't be in this kind of pain. The doctors don't know why she seems to be regressing.

My uncle warned her that if she can't move around at least a little that the Sterling House (the really amazingly cool nursing home) might not be able to take her back. She'd have to go back to The Virginia (which has icky food and is completely depressing). Her reaction was telling him to get rid of her furniture then. *sigh*

So, while she should be getting better leg and pain wise, she's getting worse and no one can seem to figure out why.

This is really difficult on my Mom. She's working on trying to get her house on the market and sell it so that she can move out here, so she doesn't have the time to come out here right now.

Oy.
