Our microwave is currently unplugged and unusable. Considering that's the way I cook and make lunch usually, having it out of commission is a huge pain in the ass. It's the apartment's built in microwave and we put in a call to G about it. We have no idea when or even if it will get looked at in the foreseeable future.

I opened it yesterday to make some lunch and it turned on. Yes, that's right, it turned on when the door was open and I was standing right in front of it. I closed the door and it shut off. I opened the door and nothing happened. I put the food in and closed the door and it turned on again. This time, I couldn't get it to stop. The button did nothing and opening the door made it just run with the door open. I feel very uneasy about being in front of an open and running microwave. So, I scrapped the lunch idea, closed the door, and held the off button down. About a minute later it stopped on its own.

Later on in the day, it turned on again all on its own when no one was near it. After a few minutes it turned off. It kept turning on and off at random intervals during the day. When Rob got home from work, he saw how messed up it was and unplugged it.

Gabriel has a new quirk. He likes to bend over in an upside down V, with his head and feet on the floor and stick his butt in my face. Or, if he's across the room, show me his butt. I always scream "oh nooooo, I can see your baby butt" and then he loses it laughing. Weird baby is weird.
