2008-06-11 9:50 AM Just Some Thoughts Previous Entry :: Next Entry Mood: Tired Read/Post Comments (7) I changed things around on here again. There's a new dragon pic and a new front page pic. I also took the musical bear down, for now. In its place is a South Park picture of me. I don't know if I'll put the musical bear up again or not, but if I do I'll give you all a warning so you don't blare music when looking at my journal. For now though, it's silent. I am so freakin' exhausted right now. I didn't sleep well last night and I have a headache behind my left eye. I'm counting down the hours until bed. Mmmmm, bed. Gabriel, however, is his usual spazzy self and has been keeping me on my toes all morning. Last night we headed out on a few errands. The bank run was... interesting. The street next to the bank was closed and the parking lot was completely flooded. This is one of the many reasons I drive an SUV. I was able to get in and out with no problem. Of course, I didn't drive into the closed flooded part of the street (it was closed from the bank on down) and I made sure to keep the car in shallow water. But still, having an SUV definitely helped. There's a local lake and river that flooded the entire area. On that note, it's a really good idea my Mom decided not to get the expensive condo across the street from the lake. The building hasn't been built yet and the area is completely under water! It's probably for the best not to live in an area that floods during heavy storms. I wonder if we'll have a working microwave by July. Somehow, I doubt it. As of tomorrow our microwave will have been broken for a week. We called G last Thursday and she said she didn't know who to contact about it. *sigh* I'm not sure when, or if, we'll have a working microwave. You never really know just how much you need a microwave until you don't have one. ----------
