Hooray! I get to see my Mom this evening! She's coming into town this afternoon and will head straight to see my Nana. After spending some time with Nana, she has to drop a few things off at my Uncle Kim and Aunt Pam's place and then she'll be over here around dinnertime. I'm always in a better mood when my Mom is here or when I know she'll be here soon.

The reason she's coming out is because I have some appointments I need to do (and can only be done on weekdays) that I can't bring Gabriel along with me for. Tomorrow I have to take Sydney to the vet for a check up (and there's no way I can chase a scared cat and a two year old around) and take my car in for the 1 month service (I've tried having Gabe with me at the car dealer, it doesn't work). So, she's nice enough to come to visit and watch Gabriel while I get the appointments done. If Sydney needs a follow up visit, we'll work on that down the road.

Granted, she won't be getting here today until early this evening, but I'm still super excited that she's coming. I told Gabriel that Nana would be coming today and he's now all wound up and excited as well.
