The Good:

I got a call from my dad yesterday! That, in itself, is enough to make me shocked and happy. But if that wasn't cool enough, he's going to try and make plans with us for December. *squeee* I told him about the problems I'm having from the flu shot and he sounded rather worried, apparently a swelling brain is not something to mess around with and is quite serious. We're trying to work on the exact weekend, but he said he wants to put us up in the Ritz and have us visit Chicago for a weekend. I am so incredibly excited about this. I don't get to see my dad all that often (even though I now live only two hours away), so it's a big thing when I do. I also am glad that Gabriel will get to see him again.

December is looking to be an awesome month. Rob has a few days of at the beginning and the end of the month. This means that the first weekend in December, we'll be heading to my Mom's house. Another weekend in December, we should be heading down to Chicago to visit my dad. At the end of December we'll be spending New Years at my Mom's place. All in all, I'm greatly looking forward to December.

If that isn't good enough, Donna is coming into town on Thursday!

The Bad:

My Nana has a very bad infected wound on her toe. I saw it the last times I visited and it looks BAD. It's so bad that it's making her foot and ankle swell up. My Uncle Kim took her to the doctor's the other day and after a battery of tests, they found out that the bone is infected and that the toe might have to be removed. Not only is toe removal not a great thing, but she would probably have to go back to the Virginia (which sucks monkey balls) for rehab because there's a good chance the Sterling couldn't handle her during that time. Aargh!

The Adorable:

Last night Gabriel fell asleep in the living room, so we put him on the LoveSac while we got ready. When it was time for bed, Rob changed his diaper and he semi-woke up. We aren't even trying to put him in his bed, he hates it and will only sleep in with us. However, he refused to come to bed until Rob found a stuffed Beanie Baby penguin that we got him last weekend. I believe his exact statement was "no penguin, no bed". Rob did indeed find the penguin and he brought that and his scuzzy piggy lovey to bed.

You want SUCCESS

Whether in a sport, school, work, or something else, you crave success and accomplishment. You want to be the best, and when you aren't, you feel dejected. You might wonder if this means you are selfish, but you are simply very determined. Don't let your desires affect how you treat other people who are vying for the same thing, though. Keep working hard, and you will have success. And remember, accomplishment feels the best if you know what it feels like to fail.

What Is Your Innermost Desire?
