I got a call from my Mom earlier letting me know that the surgery was over and done with and that my Nana was doing just fine. Her infected toe has been removed and she's in good spirits. They didn't let her keep the toe or turn it into an ornament for her.

My Mom is currently at the hospital with my Nana and my Uncle Kim. She's going to spend the day there and then crash here tonight and look after Sydney while we're in Chicago. I think, but am not positive, that she'll be heading back to her place tomorrow.

As soon as Rob gets home from work tonight things are going to be CRAZY as we scramble to pack and get out of here so that we don't get in to Chicago too late tonight. I just hope we don't forget anything!
