It's snowing again and isn't supposed to let up until Xmas eve day. Then, after a day or two, it's going to start snowing again. As if we needed more snow. We have, quite literal, mountains of snow here. Some areas where the plows have piled up snow are probably about 2 stories tall. The areas where the snow has fallen and still lays undisturbed have at least three feet. It's insane and it's only December. We're so going to flood at the first Spring thaw.

I love the winter, don't get me wrong, and I love snow if I don't have to drive in it. But this is seriously insane. We have more snow now than I remember getting all winter as a child in Chicago. Last year was bad snow wise, and it was about this bad late in the winter. At this rate, houses will be buried under snow by Spring. Okay, maybe not that bad, but you know what I'm saying. It's insane. I'm willing to bet this extra snow is one of the many signs of global warming getting out of control. Kat's tree is budding and we're in an area where the snow just doesn't stop. Ugh.

My Mom's supposed to drive out here tomorrow and be here for Xmas. I hope she can make it in this weather. We have dinner plans tomorrow and then will visit my Aunt Pam and Uncle Kim (Nana will be there as well) at their house on Xmas.

Oh, I had a bit of a freakout last night. When we were out, my warning light in my car went on and it said I had low tire pressure. No flats, but Rob said super cold weather (without the wind chill factor it was 1) can make the air in the tires contract and cause that warning light to go off. Luckily, I have a car appointment scheduled for the day after Xmas and I can have them make sure that's what the problem is. I don't want to put more air in them and have them overinflated when the weather warms up. I have the worst luck with tires.
