What the heck is with all of this "the world will end on December 21, 2012" that I'm seeing around?

Anyway, last night dinner was great. Rob cooked up our Fresh Market turkey dinner with all the trimmings. Yum. I also nommed a good chunk (the entire head and arms) of my giant gummi bear on a stick. We didn't get around to having any of our log cake for dessert though, we were all too full.

This morning I took my car in for it's 6 month/5,000 mile service and mentioned to the guy that my low tire pressure light was on. Rob had to work today and Mom watched Gabriel for me at home while I took my car in. The appointment took a little over an hour and I had my DS (with Brain Age and Pokemon Diamond) along with me so I didn't get bored. I don't know if any of you play DS Pokemon Diamond or Pearl, but if you do... would you want to trade me a Chimchar for a Drifloon? I caught the Drifloon this morning. When the car was done they told me some of the tires were a bit low, but the light probably came on because tire pressure reads as lower in extreme cold. Also, because the spare is below the car, that one can get lower when it's this cold out. All is good with it now though.

When I got home, I chilled out with my Mom and Gabriel and made a pot of coffee (Holiday Rum Cake flavor). My Mom took off around noonish to head back home. I told her to call me when she gets home because this morning it was raining ice and the roads are pretty slick out there. Normally I'd be depressed as all hell that my Mom is gone, but we'll be heading out to her place for New Years Eve, so I have something to look forward to.

Today is back to normal. I'm home alone with Gabriel and doing the laundry. At least tomorrow it will be the weekend.

Oh, I thought I'd mentioned that this year my favorite present from my Mom was a purple Coach wallet and my favorite present from Rob was a Russian Cthulhu Amulet.
