Merry Christmas everyone (or Happy Holidays if you don't celebrate Christmas).

This morning, I was slightly hungover, but it wasn't anything that a shower and some breakfast didn't take care of fairly quickly. I don't drink much anymore so a few glasses of wine and one rum and diet coke pretty much knock me on my ass. I didn't feel too drunk last night (just happily tipsy for an hour or so), but I did feel some hangover this morning. Ugh.

After everyone was up we opened presents. Gabriel learned last night that when he took the wrapping paper off (which to him was fun in and of itself) that there were neat things under there. So he had a blast opening up all of this toys (and he even opened some of our presents and threw them to the side when he realized that we didn't have cool toys like he did).

After opening everything and getting dressed we headed out to see if any place was open for lunch. Taste of India was open and so we grabbed some appetizers and naan for lunch an then headed over to my Uncle Kim and Aunt Pam's house. Also there were one of the twins and Emily. My Nana was there as well. We hung out there for a bit and watched the end of A Christmas Story and the beginning of Star Wars as Gabriel found a bowl of Jelly Bellies and went around feeding all of us the candy.

We then came back home so we could put the turkey in the oven. Gabriel's getting his bath and my Mom is out having a smoke while I type this up. Later on, it will be time for turkey. Hrm, we should check and see when we need to put the sides on the stove. I'm also doing a ton and a half (okay, 4-6 loads) of laundry tonight.

My Mom will be heading back home tomorrow *snifflewah*, but she'll be watching Gabriel in the morning when I take my car in for its 6 month/5000 mile service. On the bright side, we'll be heading to my Mom's for New Years eve. Yay!
