Yesterday was Gabriel's third birthday. When Gabriel was born, I told him to not grow up too quickly. Apparently, he's ignoring this.

Rob took off work yesterday for Gabe's birthday and when we got up our first stop was at the doctor's office. Gabriel had his pediatrician appointment for his three year check up. He's short (36 inches), he's skinny (30 pounds), he's smart and well beyond where he should be intelligence wise, he's healthy... and he also has some sort of bump that might be a cyst on his penis. So, at some point we'll need to make an appointment with a urilogist to see if it can be removed. No hurry, but the doctor did recommend having the cyst removed.

We got in and out of the appointment quickly and had an hour before my appointment. So, we took that time to head to the post office and mail some of our tax stuff out to our tax attorney.

Then we headed back to the medical center for my appointment and Rob and Gabriel waited in the car. I'm not going to post the details of that appointment here. Suffice to say that I might have a blood pressure problem and that we're trying something new for asthma treatment.

After my doctor's appointment, we headed to pick up Gabriel's birthday cake. It's a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting and cherry filling and the words "Happy Birthday Gabriel" and a Pikachu on it. He loved it. We then grabbed some lunch and headed back home. My Mom was already there and waiting for us.

We let Gabriel open a few presents and then headed out. Had the weather been nice, we would have gone to the zoo. However, it was in the low 30's and high 20's and snowing. So, we took him to Monkey Joes instead. He had a good time and after that we took him out for ice cream. We went to Baskin Robbins and he got his very first clown cone. He was a mess!

After his ice cream and cleaning him up, we headed into Milwaukee to get take out from Buca di Beppo (he really likes their pizza) and headed back home.

When we got back home we ate dinner and Gabriel opened the rest of his presents. Rob and I got him a lot of Pokemon, some Wonder Pets toys, and some Yo Gabba Gabba toys as well as the Madagascar movies. My Mom got him a bunch of fun and educational toys. After opening presents we all had some of his birthday cake and then chilled out and tried to get him to go to sleep.

Right now, my Mom is here and we're waiting for the Culligan man to get here and take a look at our leaking water softener.

Which Natural Disaster Are You?
You're a Tornado
You're a Tornado
Your interesting appearance and outer shell tend to suck people in around you. You're very captivating and others are drawn to you. But, unfortunately, you tend to take advantage easily. People are actually better off getting a look at you from nearby rather than getting swooped up in your drama. Try to use your powers for good rather than evil.
