Time for the weekend in a nutshell wrap up.

Friday Night:

Friday night we watched our Netflix DVD of "Decoys". We had seen part of the movie in the hotel room in Madison that we were at for my swearing in ceremony and finally decided to rent it and see the whole thing. It was a fun and entertaining movie and about what we were expecting.

Saturday:

As usual, Saturday was our day of errands. We grabbed lunch at an Italian deli (mmmmm, rice balls) and then went to get some food from The Fresh Market. We made a Babies R Us run for some diapers and wipes and made a drug store run for my asthma scripts. We then dropped everything off at home.

We headed back out and made a run to Menards and then to Pick N Save for our main grocery shop. After dropping that off at home we headed into Milwaukee to get Buca di Beppo for dinner. We ate caeser salad, pizza, and gamed on Saturday night.

Sunday:

Sunday morning I wasn't feeling so hot. I had a rather bad headache that kept going between bad headache and low grade migraine. I kept taking my migraine meds, but all that did was keep it at headache level. Still, I was able to deal.

While I was still waking up in bed, Rob brought a few things to me. I got three cards (one from Rob, one from Gabriel, and one from Sydney that had some amazing haikus written in it). I got the hippo box that we had won from the MPTV auction as my Mother's Day present from Rob and Gabriel ended up getting me a Coach turtle keychain.

I showered and got ready and we headed out for the day. Our first stop was to grab lunch at McDonalds and then we went to Kohls to get Gabriel a few more of the sippy cups he really likes. He also ended up getting a stuffed duck.

From there we went to Wal*Mart to get some large plastic bins so that we can start cleaning up the loft. We dropped everything off at home and then headed back out.

We headed to Mukwanago to a place called the Elegant Farmer. We ended up getting a lot of foodage there, including an apple pie and some fresh applesauce. Yum. We'll definitely be going there again. I got some licorice mix for my Mom since she'll be coming out at the end of the week to watch Gabriel while I get my three GAL seminars done.

I had a major blood sugar crash as we were leaving, so we stopped at Dairy Queen and Rob and I split come chili cheese fries. The carbs in the fries stabalized my blood sugar and we were able to continue on.

We headed back home and decided to try a new restaurant for dinner. It was awful, so we ended up making some rice at home for dinner which was fine by me because I was having some tummy problems.

Since it was Mother's Day Rob was willing to game and so we gamed and watched the season finales of The Amazing Race (boo, I was rooting for Luke and his Mom to win) and The Celebrity Apprentice (yay, I had been rooting for Joan Rivers the entire time).

Monday:

Monday morning I woke up and was sick as all hell. I had a full blown terrible migraine that was centered behind my right eye. I was nauseous and had some serious potty problems. I was dizzy and could barely walk. My migraine meds did nothing to help. I even took a Vicodin that I had left over from when I fractured my knee, that also did nothing.

Rob knew from looking at me that I couldn't take care of myself, let alone Gabriel. Daycare no longer does drop off service, so he called in to work and let them know that he wouldn't be coming in. His boss totally understood. I spent the morning in bed, passed out. I got up around 1pm in order to shower because my stink was beginning to bother me.

The only thing that sounded good, food wise, was soup. So I googled "soup restaurants milwaukee" and found an awesome one called The Soup Market. There was one in Hales Corners, and so we headed out to get soup. It was nice getting some fresh air and I just stayed in the car the whole time because of the pain in my head and the extreme dizziness.

We brought the soup back home, reheated it, and had it for dinner. We had some chicken and dumpling soup and some tomato bisque soup. Both were excellent and we'll be getting soup from there again. Even when not sick, I love soup.

After getting rest and soup, I was feeling a bit better. We gamed and watched House and then I went to bed.

Tuesday (today):

This morning I woke up feeling much better. No more headache at all. Whew. My only physical complaint is a sore left shoulder, probably from favoring my right side all day yesterday.

Rob's back at work, Gabriel's a spaz, and I'm washing up our sheets. It's back to being a normal weekday.

You Scored as Wizard

You're a wizard alright. You advance faster using your books than any sorcerer, don't listen to their taunts about your limited spell use, you have more special abilities than they do in your left pinky.
