Friday night we decided to watch the Netflix DVD of "Cadavarella". It was exactly what we thought it would be - an entertaining bad B movie. A very bad B movie. Kind of looked like a cinema student's film. Fun though.

Saturday was a normal errands day. We made a run to Fresh Market, Babies R Us, the pet food store, and the grocery store. We grabbed Long John Silver's for dinner and did some gaming.

Saturday night around 2:30am I woke up having chest pains. The pain was under my left breast. They were very bad (probably around a 6 on the pain scale) sharp, stabbing pains. They lasted for a few seconds, and then went away, and then would come back about a minute later. After the pains I'd get really freaked out, the inside of my body felt like it was on fire, and I started feeling what can only be described as an impending sense of doom. After about five minutes of this, I started shaking and woke Rob up.

We called my Mom and she didn't know if I should head into the ER or not. So, Rob called the ER and they forwarded us to the nurse on line number. He told them my symptoms and they told me to go in. So, we grabbed Gabriel and Rob drove me over to the ER.

I was taken into the ER, had an EKG, a lot of blood drawn, peed in a cup, etc. The problems with my heart was that it was going way too fast, and one of my lower ventricles was beating at a different time than the heart. I was also having a severe anxiety attack. My right arm is a pincushion from failed blood draws, trying to find a vein, successful blood draws, and an IV that was finally placed in my wrist (ow) because they couldn't get it in anywhere else.

I was in the ER over night and they gave me morphine for the heart and adavan for the panic attack. They were also concerned about my blood sugar (172) and so I'll probably need a diabetes test down the road as well. I'm going to need to follow up my my regular doc and am hoping I can do so the same day as my ob/gyn appointment.

I was discharged around 8am on Sunday morning and the pharmacy wasn't yet open. So, I came home and passed out. Rob and Gabriel fell asleep with me and they got up around 2pm. They also ran out to get me my prescriptions.

I ended up waking up around 6:30pm. I took my shower, watched some TV, ate some dinner, and then went back to sleep for the night.

The prescriptions they gave me were for Vicodin (for the chest pains) and Adavan (for the panic). I'll need to talk to my regular doctor about what to do down the road.

I slept last night and got up today at 7am. My Aunt Pam came over to help me with Gabriel since I'm still super tired, not feeling great, and am supposed to rest and take it easy.

Oh, and that throat problem I'm having? It's strep. Joy.

What Kind of Dinosaur Are You?
Tyrannosaurus Rex
Tyrannosaurus Rex
You are the T-Rex! The king of the lizards, the Tyrannosaurus was thought to be the largest carnivore to have ever walked the Earth, until Gigantosaurus fossils were found in the mid 90's. You, like the T-Rex have an appetite for destruction! You tend to be a leader and sometimes even a loner, but you like it that way. You have an intense personality and not everyone can handle you. There's no doubt about it - you are fierce!
