Special thanks go out to Netter. When she found out I was dealing with a rather nasty bout of E-coli, she recommended eating some Jello. I tried the sugar free kind and it's been helping! Thanks!

Saturday the weather was nice and it's the last weekend we can go to the Ren Faire (next weekend I'll have my period and going to the Faire then is a bad idea, and the weekend after that is the last weekend of the Faire and chances are I'll be out of town then). So, since it was fairly cloudy and only in the low 70's out, we decided to hit the Faire one more time before it closed for the season.

We got there right when it opened (and managed to get fairly decent parking as well) and walked around a bit before heading to get some lunch. Lunch for me was a bunch of super yummy mushrooms and a bagel dog. Lunch for Rob was some steak on a stake and a pastry. Gabriel had a ton of mac and cheese bites. Lunch was tasty and we sat there for a bit and people watched. Rob then took Gabriel into a maze... twice.

We then walked around a lot and eventually Rob took Gabriel on the Da Vinci flying machines and then we caught up with the Spider Fairy (and other fairies as well). The Spider Fairy once again remembered him and he spent some time with her. He's absolutely head over heels in love with her. Gabriel then found the fire fairy and was entranced by her as well. We wandered around a bit more and made our way out around 1pm.

We only spent about three hours there, but we were able to walk the entire Faire and do everything we wanted to. Fun.

We came back home and on the way I made a stop at Mars Cheese Castle to get some salami and cheese for my lunches this week. We then headed home and I took a bit of a nap.

Later on when I woke up we headed out to grab dinner (Red Lobster) and then came home and chilled out.

Sunday was our day of errands. We went to Fresh Market (where I got some carrots to go with my salami and cheese for lunches this week) and the pet store (to get Sydney some wet pouch food and some more dry food). He eats California Naturals chicken and brown rice for his dry food and Wellness pouches for his wet food.

We then stopped off at home to put stuff away and then headed back out for a few more errands.

We went to Walgreens where I got some more allergy pills and some other items. We did our main grocery shop at Pick N Save. Then, we headed to have dinner out.

Gabriel keeps asking for us to have "baseball" dinner. Which means he wants to go back to the Friday's at Miller Park (the restaurant overlooks the field). The Brewers were out of town, so it would be open. We headed there for dinner and Gabriel was very well behaved. Their club sandwich is excellent (especially when you order it with no mayo and put some dijon mustard on it). After dinner we headed home to game and watch Big Brother.

Today it's back to the normal daily grind. I'm at home with Gabriel, doing laundry, trying to figure out my CA MCLEs, and looking for a job. The job I was crossing my fingers for that's literally less than a mile from home isn't going to happen. They haven't contacted me, but they have re-posted for the job now saying that 7+ years experience is required. Suck.

Mom will be coming into town at the end of the week to give me a hand with appointments. I have a vet check up appointment for Sydney on Friday morning and a follow up appointment with my doctor on Friday afternoon. She's going to watch Gabriel during those times.

What candy are you?
Caramello
When you're chewing Caramello you wonder to yourself, is this worth all the trouble? But after you finish you think, wow, I'm sure glad I ate that... it was good. The chocolate is just an added bonus.

Take the quiz!
