Lisa told me about a photo blog project that apparently has already been going on for a year now. It's called Envisage 365 and is about women taking a picture a day (of themselves or the the world around them) and chronicling their lives for a year through photography.

I looked it over and was amazed by the entire thing. At first, I thought I wouldn't have the time for this sort of project, but I also thought that it would be fun and meaningful to be able to contribute to something like this. So, I decided I'd make time and I tossed my name in the ring. I was accepted.

I have a camera, I just rarely use it. I know I need to use it more (especially on Gabriel), but I never have the time. I also am very camera shy and there aren't many pics of me out there. Perhaps this will aid me in getting some pics of myself. At the very least, I'll have a year of my life chronicled in photos. All in all, I think this will be a very fun and rewarding experience.

There is already a Jennifer and a Jen on there, so I decided to go by Jennifer Lea. I don't know if anyone will follow along, but much like this journal, I'm doing this more for myself than for anyone else. So even if I don't have people checking in, my feelings won't be hurt.

Oh, and while there is a comments section, I won't be able to reply to anyone's comments over there. I don't have an ID on any of the sites needed to be able to post a comment and I don't plan on signing up with any of them either. To make a comment you need one of the following: a google account, a blogger account, or an Open ID with LiveJournal, WordPress, TypePad, or AIM. Not interested in getting an account with any of those, so I won't be using the comments section.
