Didn't really do anything fun or exciting last weekend. Just got the errands done and that's about it. Wish I had a more interesting life to report, but well, my life can be rather boring. Weekdays is watching Gabriel, doing laundry, and looking for a job. Weekends are when we get our errands done. Yup, boring life.

Friday night we watched our Netflix DVD of Coraline. It was a very good and very trippy movie. I've never read the book and I didn't know it was a Neil Gaiman story. I was very happy to have seen it and Gabriel seemed to like it as well.

Saturday we headed to Fuddrucker's for lunch (which Gabriel LOVED) and then we did some errands. We went to the roadside corn stand to grab some corn, we went to Menard's to get a power strip, and then we did our main grocery shopping for the week. We grabbed Buca di Beppo for dinner, came back home, and did some gaming.

Sunday we did Fuddruckers once more (they have amazing turkey burgers) and then grabbed some chicken from Fresh Market for dinner. We made a drug store run and then drove around looking at houses. We realized that we won't be able to buy one until I'm working and we're making a bit more money. With what we're making now, we couldn't qualify for a mortgage on something we would want. But when I finally find a job, we know we'll be able to afford something someday.

We grilled out our chicken and boiled our corn and had that for dinner. We watched Big Brother and then I showed Rob episode one (Serenity) of Firefly. He seemed to like it.
