Streak of Bad Luck

Meh, I've just been having a streak of really shitty luck recently.

Last weekend I tried to go to the AT&T store to upgrade my cell phone and change my plan with them. For some reason, they didn't carry the phone I wanted (Samsung Rugby) in that store. They told me to do the upgrade online. Okay.

So, I did the upgrade online. I got an e-mail receipt and everything was just fine and listed on there. Come to find out, none of my plans changed. So, after a few phone calls to customer service, my plans finally change. I was then able to activate the phone and so far, so good.

On Wednesday while doing laundry I whacked my arm - hard - on the corner of Gabriel's changing table. It hurt bad. Pain was shooting down my arm all the way to my finger tips. I also couldn't move my arm for a few hours. Over time it got better, but not by much. Even today it still hurts like hell if something even brushes up against it. There's a rather large bump that shouldn't be there and it's turning colors. If I hold it bent up against my chest, it doesn't hurt. Otherwise, moving it, touching it, etc. hurts like hell. Yeowch.

Last night I ran down to my car to head to the post office and my car was dead. This is the second time my NEW (2008) car was dead. I didn't run it for TWO DAYS, that's all, and it wouldn't start. So, we called AAA and I got to wait in the cold rain for over an hour for someone to show up (and miss Survivor and dinner).

The AAA guy was able to give me a jump start, but he also managed to lost one of the bolts that holds the battery cover on. He dropped it down into the hood. *sigh*

I then drove my car around for about 45 minutes or so in the rain that was beginning to turn to ice on the roads. That was a rather unpleasant experience.

I'm going to be making an appointment with Lexus for next Wednedsay (Rob's work from home day so he can watch Gabriel) and have them check out the battery. Draining in two days seems pretty insane to me, especially when I go on trips for longer than that and would like it if my car started when I got back home from them.

So yeah, I've been having a streak of bad luck recently. I wouldn't mind some good luck coming my way, I think it's about damn time for some.

Indigo Abyss

Your aura is like an indigo or a violet abyss. An indigo abyss can be described as an ocean, indescribably deep and captivating. If I read your aura right now I'd probably drown in it. It means that your personality has different sides, and it's hard to keep up with it. You likely have good taste in music and are an original and unique soul.

What Does Your Aura Look Like?
