Saturday was our usual day of errands. We took Gabriel to get his hair cut around noon and then did all of the errands we needed to get done for the week. We headed to Carenza so Rob could get some hair gel, Fresh Market for some food items, Ulta for some hair gunk for me (anti-snap and align), Babies R Us for some wipes, and then GNC for some pills. I'm trying some Chromium to see if that helps with my blood sugar numbers. While we were at Babies R Us, Gabriel found a blue Webkins platypus. He LOVES Perry the Platypus from Phineas and Ferb and begged for it. So, of course, I got it for him. He's been carrying it around ever since.

We then made a stop off at home and eventually headed back out. We went over to Kohl's corporate (where Rob works) to grab some print outs. Gabriel kept saying "wow" at how big the place was. We then went to Pick N Save for our grocery shop and headed home once again to drop the groceries off.

We grabbed take out from Buca di Beppo (while I can't eat their pasta anymore, I can eat their pizza) and then came home and watched S. Darko, the sequel to Donnie Darko. It was actually really good. I'd recommend it to anyone who liked the first movie.

Sunday we made a run to the post office to mail out the Netflix DVD and then went to the Fresh Market to grab some chili burgers to cook up for dinner. We dropped the burgers off at home and then headed out to a pumpkin patch. This was Gabriel's first trip to a pumpkin patch.

We picked out a small pumpkin for the apartment. We're not carving them and don't have anywhere to put a large one, but we thought having a small one around would be cute. Gabriel loved the pumpkin patch, though he kept wanting to try and throw them. We were going to take him to feed the goats, but he was acting up so we didn't. We also skipped the corn maze because, well, ew, bugs! All in all, it was a fun trip.

From there we made a quick run to Avenue so I could see if they had any of the jeans that I LOVE in stock. They're the only jeans that fits my body perfectly and are super comfy and of course, they're being discontinued! They didn't have any in my size.

We then went to the large Halloween Express that's in a giant pumpkin on the State Fairgrounds. Gabriel loved it as usual, but kept trying to run off so we headed out.

On the way home we made a quick run to Pick N Save for a pack of hangers and to Caribou Coffee and then came home for the night.

Sunday night we cooked our burgers and watched The Amazing Race.
