Flu Shots and New Game Store

Friday wasn't too good. I had a horrible migraine that I couldn't get rid of (no matter what meds I took) and kept having near constant nosebleeds. Yuck!

Saturday morning we had the family flu shot clinic over at Gabriel's pediatrician's office. We all got our seasonal flu shots. I need to remember to always have Tylenol on hand for both Gabriel and myself after the shot and that the rest of the day is shot. Gabriel was super fussy and needed some Tylenol later in the day (we picked some up when we were at the grocery store) and I had all over body aches and needed Tylenol myself (unfortunately, we didn't have any adult Tylenol in the house).

After the shot, we did our errands (with a very fussy Gabriel and a very achey me). We checked out a new game store in the area (love it) that reminded us of The Game Zone back in Pasadena. I picked up a stuffed Halloween Cthulhu and Gabriel got a small purple one. We then went to The Fresh Market for some groceries and Lenscrafters so I could pick up some pre-moistened wipes for my glasses.

We dropped the stuff off at home and then headed to Pick N Save for our main weekly grocery shop.

Later that night, we headed into Milwaukee to get some Buca Di Beppo salad and pizza take out for dinner and when we got back home we did some gaming.

On Sunday we took Gabriel to Fuddrucker's for lunch. He loves that place. He used to call it Bugfuckers. Now he's calling it Fuckfuckers. Do you have any idea how hard it is to not burst out laughing when he does that? We so have to bite our tongues and correct him that it's Fuddrucker's.

After lunch I made a stop at an office supply store (for a nice pen) and then at Barnes and Noble (for a blank journal). We then headed to Pick N Save to pick up an item we had forgotten yesterday and then to Walgreens for some other things.

We headed home, put stuff away, and then decided to check out the sister store to the game store we visited yesterday. That one was even bigger and cooler! I picked up some dice while I was there.

On the way home we grabbed take out from a Chinese restaurant that we had never tried before (and it was rather good) and then came back home to watch The Amazing Race.

Right now, the injection site from where I got my flu shot is painful, red, and swollen. But, if that's the only side effect I'll be getting this year, I can deal with that. I also have a swollen left eye (but it's not from the shot). The bottom lid of my left eye is all painful and swollen. Rob thinks it's a stye, but it doesn't look anything like a stye. Either way, it's annoying and painful.

People Love That You Are Responsible and Dependable
You're the type of person who can make decisions easily, and you don't mind leading or directing people.
It's likely that you're friends look to you to figure out what to do when you get together. It may feel like a burden, but take it as a complement.

Your friends also know that they can turn to in times of crisis or deep trouble. You can help out in an effective manor.
Your pals may complain every now and then that you're a little too responsible, especially when you want to call it a night early. In the end, though, they appreciate that they can count on you.
