Last night Mom babysat Gabriel so that Rob and I could head to fondue for dinner. Dinner was super nice, though most of the night I was feeling weird and had some rather bad chest pains. Still, I wasn't about to pass up the opportunity for a fondue dinner with my hubby.

Today Mom, Gabriel, and I headed out to Gabriel's very first dental appointment ever. We got the recommendation for a pediatric dentist from our pediatrician because that's where her kids go. Gabriel was actually very well behaved during the appointment. He got his teeth cleaned and checked out and counted and the dentist looked at his mouth. He has a bit of a cross bite and so down the road there's a chance he might need a retainer to straighten that out, but that would be years down the road. His next appointment will be in about six months.

After the dental appointment we headed to the bank to open a custodial account for Gabriel. I'm the custodian on the account because there can only be one. Mom put a deposit in there and will be doing so at different points down the road. Hopefully, my dad will be doing so as well. Since Gabriel's school (if he gets in) will cost a ton (8k for preschool and 15k for graded K-12), we're using that as his school account. The banker we worked with was super nice.

Later on when Rob got home from work we all headed out to Front Row Friday's (the TGI Fridays' in Miller Park) for dinner. Gabriel loves it there and I actually had some alcohol. I love mint so for the first time ever I tried a mojito. Yum! Dinner was great and when we were done we made a pit stop at Caribou and then headed back home.

Right now we're chilling around the apartment. Tomorrow morning Mom will be visiting Nana and then heading back home. Tomorrow morning Gabriel has his entrance interview/exam for his preschool. Let's cross our fingers and hopes he gets in!

Congratulations. You're easy-going, friendly and know when to stand up for yourself. You're perfect. In fact, you're a little bit too perfect. Chances are, hoards of jealous people are plotting your demise at you read this. Tough luck, pal.
