2010-03-01 10:15 AM Insane Weekend Previous Entry :: Next Entry Mood: Worn Out Read/Post Comments (0) As mentioned in my previous entry, Friday night sucked. It was Gabriel's first trip to the ER. If you want details, just go look at my last entry. On the bright side, he seems to be doing just fine now. He's got a huge bump on his forehead and a bruise there, but he says it doesn't even hurt. Of course, he might just be saying that so he doesn't have to take any tylenol. Saturday morning we slept in. We didn't wake up until after 11am. Even Gabriel slept in. We woke him once during the night and he was able to answer two questions and so we let him go back to sleep. Saturday we got a very late start and so we didn't have time to do our errands. We did, however, make a run to Toys R Us. Gabriel was very well behaved at the ER and for the doctor so we thought he deserved some things for being such a good boy (and for going through such a horrible ordeal). He picked out a Bakugan TAG book, a stuffed talking Goofy, and a new Ben 10 Gwen alien action figure. Needless to say, he was a lot happier after some time in a toy store. We then headed back home for a bit and made a run out to Red Lobster for take out. We came back home and gamed. Because Gabriel's schedule was thrown off from the night before, he didn't go to sleep until late Saturday night. Sunday we did get up becasue we had a lot to do. After getting ready Sunday morning we headed to Pick N Save for our main weekly grocery shop. We then headed out to the outlets in Johnson Creek and bought some pyjamas in 4T/4 that have short sleeves that Gabriel can switch into when the weather warms up. I also made a run into the Lane Bryant outlet and picked up a new pair of lounge pants and a matching tank top for around the house wear. From there we went to Kohl's to pick up some more pyjamas and then we headed back to our neck of the woods. On the way home we made a pit stop at a Walmart in Delafield so that Rob could get some new shoelaces for his work shoes. I don't know what the hell he does to his laces, but he seems to break them at least once a month. We then picked up dinner from Long John Silvers and brought that home. When we got back home we watched The Amazing Race and I did some shopping online. I got a few more things for Gabriel from the Kohl's website and I got a bunch of t-shirts and a light jacket (all in 4t) from Baby Gap for Gabriel for when the weather warms up. Now all I'll need to get are some jeans and shorts in 4t for him from Baby Gap down the road and he'll be all set for warm weather clothing. ----------
you are loyal and protecting, if one of your friends is hurt you do all you can to help. if someone hurts them, you do all you can to avenge them. you dislike the light in terms of overcheerfulness and those who are never serious. Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
