Well, it seems I've solved the problem of no longer being able to upload pictures onto the computer. No, the computer isn't fixed. It still won't recognize that there's a camera attached to it and chances are there will be no way to fix this ever. But for now, I've gotten a card reader. I can put the memory card from the camera into the card reader and then hook the reader up to the computer. It's more of a pain in the ass that just directly hooking the camera up, but it works. Which means I can still participate in Envisage and can still be taking lots of pictures of my baby. Yay!

I'm not happy that Norton 2010 seriously messed up my computer (there are other problems, like with web pages and the like from it as well) or that I'm getting viruses that I never had before (it found 3 trojans yesterday), but at least I have a fix for one of the problems it created.

If you use Norton (which is normally a fairly good product), do not update to the 2010 version. You have been warned.
