Nana's 98th Birthday

Rob has his work from home day today, which meant he could watch Gabriel while I went over to my Nana's birthday party. It was in one of the party rooms at her retirement place and Kim, Emily, Alan, Andy, Shirly, my Mom, my Nana, and I were all there. We talked, had pizza for lunch, and then everyone (other than me) had some cake. It was fun.

Nana opened her presents and we got her some Buddy Squirrel cashews and a card from Rob and I and a card from Gabriel (he drew a happy face in a party hat for her).

After staying there for about two hours, my Mom and I headed out and over to my place.

Yesterday, I got mule kicked by Gabriel in my left wrist. It dislocated and I was able to pop it back in, but there's still a lot of pain there. So, I have a wrist brace on it until it heals.

We finally got a call back from our apartment manager today. Apparently an electrician came out and looked at the problem in UNIT B and said everything was fine. We're in UNIT D. *sigh* So, someone will probably be looking at it tomorrow, which sucks, because my Mom and I wanted to be able to go out and have some fun with Gabriel and now we get to wait around the house for the electrician. Meh. Ah well, at least someone will be looking at it.
