Saturday was a purely lazy day. A lot of time was spent lounging around the house and we only headed out later in the afternoon to take Gabriel out for some ice cream (now he seems to love mint chip) and to pick up take out from Mitchell's for dinner. We spent some of the night gaming.

Sunday was our day of errands. We headed to the Chancery for lunch and then went over to Fresh Market to get some foodage. We then put the stuff away at home and headed out once more. This time we made a run to the post office, the game store, and then did our main grocery shopping for the week at Pick N Save.

Sunday night we cooked out. We grilled bratwurst and zucchini. It was super yummy. We also watched Big Brother and did a bit more gaming.

I still can't believe Gabriel is starting pre-school tomorrow. Wow. My baby is now a big boy. Where did the time go? Oh, and I won't be posting the name of his pre-school or the city it's in on here (I know Ellen asked in a prior comment). I don't feel comfortable making that information public to the world at large.

Nana seems to be finally coming out of the medication haze. From what my uncle says, she's becoming more normal and the hallucinations are going away. A doctor finally looked at her knee. The pain is from bone rubbing on bone and so she'll probably get getting a cortisone shot there. The swelling is from a build up of blood all around the knee. They think that the blood thinners she's on made a vessel burst and that's where all the blood came from. So, they'll be temporarily taking her off of the blood thinners until that heals up. In general she needs to be on the blood thinners because of clot problems (including ones in her lungs) that she's had in the past.

They're hoping to be able to release her from the hospital today.
