Gabriel's favorite holiday is Halloween. He loves everything associated with it and gets super excited about it at all times of the year. So, when the sign came up for Halloween Express last weekend, he started freaking out that he wanted to go there. Unfortunately, they weren't open yet. He didn't believe us, so we had to prove it to him. So, Rob took him to the storefront and showed him that it was closed.

He tried the door and found it was locked. He asked for the key. Rob told him we didn't have the key and he said "just one key". He told him again that we didn't have the key and he said it was in Rob's pocket. Then Rob explained to him that his keys didn't work on the door.

Gabriel saw the "opening soon" sign out front, read it, and waited. After a few minutes he tried the door again. Rob explained to him that meant it would open in a few days or weeks, not in a few minutes. Gabriel was not pleased.

He tried the other door, peered in the window for awhile, and finally gave up. We told him that we'd take him there when it was open and he seemed happy about that.

Oh, and for the record, this year he wants to be a Power Ranger.
