This morning Sydney had his 6 month senior cat wellness visit. From the physical exam, most everything looked good. He's down in weight, but that could be because now that he's on the k/d food, he eats the dry but hates the wet since it's a pate and not chunky. Or, it could be his thyroid. They drew blood and took a urine sample and the main things they're looking at are his kidneys and his thyroid. I should be hearing back on those sometime tomorrow. Hopefully, all will be well with him. He might be 15 years old, but he's my baby kitty and I'd be absolutely devastated if something happened to him.

After I dropped Sydney back at home I headed out to the Fresh Market for some grocery shopping. Rob's working from home today and so we decided that we wanted to cook tonight. So, I went and got some fresh meat and veggies and we'll be cooking those up tonight.

Gabriel still loves pre-school and we finally found out that Luma is actually Laura. Laura is his teacher. I was the same way at his age, I preferred to have adult friends over kid friends. I don't know why, I just did. But he seems to at least be hanging out with the other kids as well. He's also as bossy as I was at that age. When he got there he started telling the other kids what color Power Rangers they all were (Gabriel is the white one by the way). I don't think any of them knew what the hell he was talking about.

When I got there yesterday I was able to talk with his teacher a bit. Apparently he had an accident while on the potty and peed straight at his pants and not down into the toilet, so he was in new pants. We always make sure to have two extra pairs of pants and one extra shirt on his bag. She said he had a lot of fun and was doing good, however he seems to have a thing for dumping toys out of their boxes and all over the floor (he does the same thing at home). On the bright side, he's always willing to clean up the messes he makes.

In his box I picked up the hat he had made last week, some birthday invites, and the Scholastic book order forms. I plan on using that and getting Gabriel a lot of books, which will also get more books for his classroom. Nice.

So, Gabriel still loves preschool and I think that's a really good sign. Though I do miss him a lot when he's over there.
