Friday night we watched our rental of Suck. It had both Malcolm McDowell and Alice Cooper in it, so we couldn't pass it up. Wow, it was amazing. It's pretty much the Rocky Horror of vampire movies and both Rob and I really enjoyed it. Though I'm sure the "Queenie" vampire was actually the Mad Hatter. If you like vampire movies and pure schlock, it's definitely worth renting.

Saturday morning I had my hair appointment and then Rob, Gabriel, and I headed over to the Empty Bowls charity event. This is our third year going there. Artists and the like from the area make bowls and each is sold for $20. You then can get soup from different area restaurants and all of the money goes to help local food pantries and places that feed the homeless. It's a great cause.

Both Rob and I were able to find wooden bowls and Gabriel picked out a black and purple one. We didn't stay too long for the soup though. None of the flavors sounded good to me and the place was beyond packed. So, we left early, happy with our bowls and being able to at least have given them some money.

Since we were down in that area anyway, we made a stop at Dunkin Donuts and took Gabriel to the Spirit Halloween store. He loves Halloween stores and anything having to do with Halloween.

We decided to get middle eastern food from Casablanca and took that home with us. We did some gaming and watched a marathon of ER shows on Discovery Health.

On Sunday we did our errands. We grabbed lunch at the Loaf and Jug and then did our shopping at Fresh Market and Pick N Save. We decided to get Buca for dinner and realized that was a mistake when they messed up both our pizza and the kid's one for Gabriel as well. So, we ended up sitting in the car in the take out area for around 20 minutes waiting for them to make new ones. *sigh*

Later that night we watched The Amazing Race. I went to bed a bit early. I'm having a rather nasty side effect from one of my medications (see private journal entries) and it's making me tired all of the time.
