This morning the shirt I picked out for Gabriel to wear to school today was his Chicago Bears shirt. Yes, I know the Bears are playing the Packers this weekend to see who goes to the Super Bowl. I also know we're in Packers territory. But, I am a Bears fan. The Wisconsin teams (Packers included) are my number two teams. The Chicago teams are always my number one teams. I never got into any of the LA teams.

So, this morning, his teacher joked that he wasn't allowed in class because of his shirt. Rob let her know that it was all my doing and I was the Bears fan. When I picked up Gabriel from school, it was a topic of (joking) conversation between me, his teacher, and even the two center directors. One of which is a HUGE Packers fan. It was amusing.

During all of this talking about Gabriel's Bears shirt, Gabriel got frustrated and let us know that there were no bears on his shirt. All that was on his shirt was a C. It was adorable. I tried to explain to him that the C was the symbol for the Chicago Bears, but he kept insisting that we were all weird because there wasn't a single bear on his shirt. Too cute.

I'm washing Gabriel's laundry tomorrow and am SO tempted to put him back in his Bears shirt for Sunday when the Bears play the Packers. Go Bears.
