It took awhile, but the bleeding (for the most part) finally stopped. After a paper towel and two band aids, the blood seemed to have stopped. Rob looked the wound over and didn't think it needed stitches. Sure, he's not a doctor, but he's had stitches and so has his brother so he has a basic idea of what kind of wounds need them and what don't. I'm super relieved. Not only did that save me a trip to the ER and the expenses that come with it, but, well, I just didn't want stitches.

Granted, the wound opens back up from time to time because of where it is, but when it does so it only oozes and doesn't bleed all that badly. Right now, I have antibiotic cream and a band aid on. Hopefully that should suffice for the day.

Of course, I had to look at the wound this morning in order to treat it, and so now I'm nauseous again. Luckily, my stomach is empty and it will remain that way until the nausea goes away. I am not good around my own blood.
