2011-03-06 5:43 PM Taking Gabriel To Urgent Care Previous Entry :: Next Entry Mood: Sick Read/Post Comments (1) Gabriel's had a bit of a cough recently and his doctor knows about this and said to just watch it since a lot of colds and coughs seem to be going around as of late. Well, early Saturday morning (around 4am) when I got up to go to the bathroom, I noticed that Gabriel was super warm. So, I woke Rob up and we took his temperature and sure enough, he had a fever. 102.2 to be exact. We found some acetaminophen and gave it to him and his fever went back down. Saturday morning he seemed better and so we took him to his hair cut appointment at Kid Do's. After the haircut the fever came back and he was acting really lethargic, so we took him to urgent care. The really cool thing about our local urgent care is that it's affiliated with both my doctors office and Gabriel's and is in the same building. So, they can easily pull of patient information and history there unlike most urgent care places. Gabriel got looked at and the doctor said he has an ear infection. So, he's on antibiotics now. We both are. Today he seems to be doing much better. He hasn't needed any Tylenol since last night and even though he's only had one dose of his antibiotics, he's jumping around and not acting sick at all.
