Mom came out last Thursday through Saturday because last Friday (April 29) was my Nana's 99th birthday.

She picked up Gabriel from preschool for me on Thursday because I had an 8 hour long Elder Law CLE seminar and if I picked up Gabriel, it would have been very late in the day. That night we headed to a local Chinese Buffet place for dinner.

Friday Rob was at work and Gabriel was at preschool, so my Mom and I headed over to my Nana's. The party room at her place was taken by us and the head count there was my Uncle Kim, my cousin Andy, my cousin Alan, my Aunt Shirley (who drove all the way out from New York for this), my Nana, my Mom, and myself. There was pizza, sub sandwiches, and soda for lunch and we all had a good time and talked a lot. After lunch Nana opened her presents and we all hung out. Eventually, we headed out to pick Gabriel up from preschool and my Mom and I made a quick run to Alterra for her to pick up some coffee beans.

Mom headed out on Saturday. I always wish she could stay longer, but her insane cat tends to poop all over the house when she's gone.
