For the most part, we had a very lazy weekend. Spent most of Saturday around the house, in bed, etc. We only went out to grab some take out dim sum for dinner.

The non-lazy part of our weekend consisted of the usual weekend errands and some decorating. We moved into this apartment in January 2007, but always thought of it as a place to stay before we bought a house. Well, with what the job market is and all, we now know it's going to be awhile before we can buy. So, it's time to decorate this place since we know we'll be in it for at least a few more years.

We put up some of the artwork we already had and got a few new pieces on the cheap this weekend as well. One of the local home builders was having a furniture and art sale of the things that they had used in their model homes. So, we got a few more pieces of art for super great prices. We're going to check it out again next weekend as well.

I also need to get one of the pieces we got from the MPTV auction framed (it's a print that came with a $50 framing certificate to a local framing store). Might as well use that since it's free and the print will look much better framed.

As odd as it sounds, I also want to frame a piece of art that Gabriel made. Sure, it's preschool art, but it ended up being super cool and would make a great framed picture.

So, slowly but surely we're decorating this place. It's starting to look better already even wit the few things that we've put up.

I also recently just registered Gabriel for summer school at his preschool. Wow, time flies and when he's done with summer school he'll be starting Kindergarten. Scary.
