2011-05-16 1:34 PM Birthday and Ambulance Previous Entry :: Next Entry Read/Post Comments (4) Today is my cat Sydney's 16th birthday. To celebrate, he's getting smoked salmon for dinner and some catsip lactose free kitty milk. I know, he's supposed to be exclusively on the k/d kidney diet, but it's his 16th birthday and I say that for that, he can have whatever he wants for dinner. If we were still in LA, it would have been an In N Out burger and fries, but salmon will have to do. Last night a firetruck, police car, and ambulance showed up in front of the building. I have no idea why. They were there for the people right next door to us (also on the second floor), but there was no fire and no one ever came out to be taken into the ambulance. The paramedics told us not to worry when Rob went outside to make sure we didn't need to evacuate, but couldn't tell us anything else. I wonder what kind of call would get a firetruck, cop car, and an ambulance to show up when there wasn't a fire and no one was taken to the hospital. How odd. I'm just glad they weren't going into the apartment below us! Our downstairs neighbors are both in their nineties. Read/Post Comments (4) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
